So I was thinking...I'm not dead yet...
After retiring from a full career as an English language arts teacher in grades 6-college and as an educational consultant, I realized that I'm ready for a new adventure. I'm captivated by all things creative: drawing, graphic arts and design, painting, baking, writing, knitting, crocheting, crafts of all kinds, and especially hand made jewelry. It's time I embrace my squirrel brain and put it to work rather than put it out to pasture.
Yes, I'm a baby boomer, but as I told my youngest son, "I'm not dead yet." Just because it comes from the brain of an older person does not mean it is not creatively worthy. The media may be youth-obsessed, but I'm not going to be intimidated. I've been in more than one situation (as have my friends) where someone alludes to the notion (or even comes out and says it) that I'm too old for certain things.
So, I'm opening up a new door in my life with this venture. I hope you will "walk" through my shop doors and be engaged by the items - hopefully enough to purchase something!
